Independent Film Screening, 'Hori Alone in Kolkata'

RPM Pictures presents 'Hori Alone in Kolkata', an independent film written, directed and co-produced by Paramita Roy. Five Australians travelled to India in January 2005 to make this film.
The film is about an eleven-year-old Muslim boy Mohammad who, like many other children, travels to the city of Calcutta to support his family back home in his village. Mohammad, in disguise of Hori (a Hindu identity), has to make many amusing and sad adjustments to fit in his new life.
The film will screen over three evenings and one matinee from 23-26 March at Tuggeranong Arts Centre.
