Roll out the red carpet for the Canberra Institute of Technology’s ninth Film and Television Awards (affectionately and more commonly known as the FAT Awards). The event will exhibit the emerging film making talent from CIT’s Communication, Media and Music students.
The Awards provide a unique opportunity for students to showcase the skills and talent they have developed throughout their study as well as giving the Canberra community a preview of the film making talent of tomorrow.
FAT Awards 2006 will see an expert panel of judges award prizes to first year students in 8 categories including Best Script, Best Soundtrack, Best Art Direction, Best Camera, Best Editing, Best Documentary, Best Directing and the prestigious Golden FAT for Best Film. And four awards to second year students including Best Film, Best Studio Production, Best Director and Best Music Video.
