Bearcage wins TVC Award in US
Canberra production company, Bearcage Productions, has taken out the Grand Remi Award for Best TV Commercial at WorldFest-Houston, the third oldest film festival in North America. The award was presented to Bearcage for its work on the TransAct “Timelord” television campaign.
Bearcage won the award ahead of more than fifteen hundred entries from thirty countries.
The TransAct campaign, written by ZOO Advertising and produced by Bearcage, was an entirely local achievement, shot throughout the city and introducing a character, The Timelord, who controls time using TransAct’s web, telephone, television and other services. 900 hours were invested into the project by the Bearcage team over 5 weeks allowing the project to be entirely produced within the ACT.
