Canberra/ACT Screen Practitioners in the News
Congratulations and fingers crossed: to Bruce Davey who has been nominated for an AWGIE award for Best Short Film Script for his film “Dearth". The fifteen minute short was shot in Burra and Hall by a local film crew and was produced by Peter Fock and directed by Bruce. Good luck Bruce!
Congratulations to Andrew Scarano and Brendan Sloane, both ScreenACT project fund grant recipients. Andrew’s documentary, “Into the Shadows” and Brendan’s feature “The Dinner Party” both premiered at the Dugog Film Festival and are soon to be showing at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival. “The Dinner Party” has also been accepted into Raindance Film Festival in London.
